Many of the houses for sale in the North Sector are not getting sold. I’ve spoken to a few real estate brokers and the answer is invariably the same: “competition from condos and town houses”. This situation will hopefully get better over time but only if we stop further development. The PPU proposed by the Mayor will reduce your property values significantly – because of new competition from the new development. As an added bonus your taxes will increase to pay for all the extra services – and nobody knows how to flush your tax dollars down the drain better than our current Mayor. Oh, and there’s one last surprise. Once you remove all the beautiful fields and forests which attracted buyers like yourself here in the first place, your property values will decrease by 100,000 on average. Not a good plan unless you’re the developer.
