PPU Misconceptions

Posted on Updated on

There is no obligation set by the PMAD to develop specific natural environments in Ste. Anne de Bellevue as is planned in the PPU.

Who will benefit from the PPU – which is essentially just another rape of the environment? Not the Citizens. All we have to look forward to is pavement, reduced property values and massive traffic congestion. The Director of Héritage Laurentien, Patrick Asch, is quoted below:

Having been involved in the development of the Plan Métropolitain d’aménagement et de Développement (PMAD), Asch mentioned that while there are parameters set by the PMAD for the development of transportation planning and environmental protection, he said that there is no obligation set by the PMAD to develop specific natural environments in Ste. Anne de Bellevue as is planned in the PPU.

This doesn’t have to go through as planned. We can save our wildlife and our quality of life.
